Job Title: CNC Machinist

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to set up and operate CNC machines, including mills, lathes, lasers, drill presses, and press brakes. In this role, you will produce high-precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications, ensuring that machining processes are optimized for quality and efficiency.

Essential duties and responsibilities

Retrieve job related information (job routings, part drawing, tool list, work-instruction, in-process inspection sheet, etc.)Complete change-over activities (Machine preparation from previous job set-up to new job set-up)Complete manufacturing of first part per process instructionReview supplied raw-material for dimensions, quantity, defects, and required heat lot/certification numbersManufacture parts to required quantityDocument manufactured quantities utilizing ERP systemInspect and document parts according to in-process inspection sheet requirementsTroubleshoot parts when issues occurWork with the Engineering department to improve machining processesStabilize machining processes to turn over to Operator for production runTrain Operators as needed on job related itemsSign off work order utilizing ERP systemPrint a physical document (i.e. router) when requiredProvide tote, documents and parts to next process stepMaintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follow prescribed safety proceduresDocument completion of all required processes in ERP systemProvide end-of-shift report detailing activities of the shift

Education and experience

High School Diploma or GED3-5 years experience setting up and operating CNC milling and/or turning machinesAbility to read technical drawingsUnderstanding of GD&TExperience using measuring tools and gages

Computer skills

Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, Visio)Experience with a major ERP system
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $75000.00/yr.

3 weeks of paid vacation accruing starting from your first day. After you have worked there for over a year, you will receive an additional week of vacation. good company benefits and 401k. Health, vision, dental., disability, supplemental
