CNC Machinist / Programmer

Aerotek is currently hiring for a CNC Machinist/Programmer in the Baltimore area! Qualified candidates will be able to perform the following duties.

Job Description

As a CNC Machinist, you will generate programs for 3 and 5 axis routers, mills, and other machines.Setting up and operating CNC machines, as well as programming for the machines.Will be responsible for designing and developing tooling and machining fixtures.Must be able to read and comprehend work orders, production instructions, 2D prints, and 3D models.Ensure all projects and parts comply with required specifications and meet quality standards

Responsibilities

Precisely machine parts to specifications using machine tools such as CNC mills, and 3 and 5 axis routers, including Haas and DMS.Responsible for setting up, operating, and programming the CNC machines.Accurately calculate dimensions and tolerances using mathematics and measuring instruments like gauges, calipers, and micrometers.Complete machine setups to meet part specifications.Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining processEnsure that materials and molds meet quality standards and are production-ready

Essential Skills

Knowledge of Mastercam and SolidWorksProficiency with CAD/CAM systemsQualified candidates are encouraged to apply to this posting directly.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $39.00/hr.
