CNC Machinist
**Job Title: CNC Mill Machinist** **Job Description** The CNC Mill Machinist is responsible for following prescribed standards of CNC operations, set-ups, and prototype processes. The role involves working with established procedures to ensure precision and quality in machining tasks. **Responsibilities** + Perform set-ups on proven and prototype parts, ensuring precise tool changes and offsets. + Run production processes and make tool offsets as necessary. + Read and interpret blueprints with a strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing. + Utilize mathematical formulas to calculate product dimensioning. + Conduct shop floor programming and editing of CNC programs to maintain product quality. + Troubleshoot processes, programs, equipment, and tooling. + Develop new work instructions for prototype parts. **Essential Skills** + High School Diploma or GED. + Minimum of 2-5+ years of experience in CNC Mill set-up and machining. + Knowledge of G-M Codes and Mazatrol is a plus. + Experience with various machine tool controls. + Proficiency in quality assurance, blueprint reading, and machining. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Familiarity with calipers, Haas equipment, and CNC troubleshooting. + Experience in prototype machining. + Competence in using CAD software. **Why Work Here?** Work in a great clean shop that offers a gym and a snack room for employees, promoting a balanced and healthy work-life culture. **Work Environment** The position is based in a machine shop with a temperature-controlled environment. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Liberty Lake, Washington. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
