**Job Title: CNC Machinist** **Job Description** The CNC Machinist will be responsible for the setup, program adjustments, operation, and quality monitoring of CNC Mills in the machine shop. The role involves taking work orders and blueprints, collecting and setting up all tooling, adjusting speed and feeds in GibbsCAM programs, and running short and long-run production of machine parts and firearms for manufacturing. The CNC Machinist is also expected to adhere to ISO standards with quality inspections and documentation of all parts. **Responsibilities** + Setup CNC machines, including Doosan Lathe, Doosan Mill, Large Doosan Boring Mill, VTech Vertical Mill, Nakamura-Tome Turning Center Mill (9 axis), and Robodrill 5 Axis Mill. + Adjust programs and make edits using GibbsCAM software. + Conduct quality inspections and document all parts in accordance with ISO standards. + Run production for machine parts and firearms manufacturing. + Perform up to 5 or 6 machine setups per shift, depending on the product. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of CNC Mill Setup experience. + Experience in program adjustments and CAM software, specifically GibbsCAM. + Ability to document quality inspection processes using computers. + Experience with tolerances of +/- .001. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with any CAM related software. + Familiarity with ISO standards. **Why Work Here?** Experience working in a clean and climate-controlled machine shop with air conditioning and heat.
