Job Description

As a CNC Machinist, you will generate programs for 3 and 5 axis routers, mills, and other machining centers. You will design and develop tooling and machining fixtures, read and comprehend work orders, production instructions, 2D prints, and 3D models. You will track and document all revisions to product drawings and tooling, and partner with engineering and sales teams to ensure parts meet customer specifications. You will provide feedback to management on potential risks, possible improvements, and problem resolution. Your role will ensure all projects and parts comply with required specifications and meet quality standards.

Responsibilities

Precisely machine parts to specifications using machine tools such as CNC mills, and 3 and 5 axis routers, including Haas and DMS.Accurately calculate dimensions and tolerances using mathematics and measuring instruments like gauges, calipers, and micrometers.Complete machine setups to meet part specifications.Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.Ensure that materials and molds meet quality standards and are production-ready.Assist with machine maintenance and adhere to maintenance schedules.

Essential Skills

Knowledge of MasterCAM and SolidWorks.Proficiency with CAD/CAM systems.Ability to perform job responsibilities using safe and proper techniques in accordance with company standards.Ability to consistently achieve productivity standards.Compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $33.00/hr.
