**Job Title: CNC Machinist** **Job Description** We are seeking three skilled CNC Machinists to join our 2nd shift team. The ideal candidates will operate, set up, and make program edits at the controls of CNC Mills using conversational controls machining. This role involves inserting products for machining, performing tooling changes, and conducting inspections, including first article, final, and random inspections. **Responsibilities** + Operate, set up, and make program edits on CNC Mills or Lathes. + Perform tooling changes and other setups or program edits as needed. + Conduct inspections on parts, including first article, final, and random inspections. + Utilize micrometers and calipers for inspections. + Program and edit directly from the machine. **Essential Skills** + Experience with CNC setup and CNC milling. + Proficiency with Mazak machines or Mazatrol controls. + Ability to read blueprints and use g&m codes, Mastercam, Fanuc programming. **Work Environment** The role is for the 2nd shift, Monday to Thursday, from 4:00 pm to 2:00 am with a 10% shift differential. The environment is a smaller custom job shop with short and production runs, requiring team players who can work well with others. The shop requires steel toes and long pants, but it maintains a casual machine shop atmosphere, providing safety glasses. During initial training, candidates must be willing to train on the first shift for 1-3 months. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
