CNC Machinist

Job Title: CNC Machinist

Pay: $26-$28

Location: Miramar

Shift: 1st shift

Description

Day to day responsibilities/ Equipment

•\tPerforms all work in a safe manner, to include proper use of personal protective equipment.

•\tPerforms all work in accordance with Standard Work and drawing specifications without assistance.

•\tUtilizes properly calibrated precision measuring instruments such as calipers, depth gages, thread gages, pin gages, and other measuring tools.

•\tPerforms all machine set-ups and make minor machine/program adjustments without assistance.

•\tTrains other employees in basic and complex machine operator techniques.

•\tPerforms operational checks to ensure departmental tools, fixtures & equipment are in good working condition.

•\tUpdate production status boards, execute and update & communicate hourly performance results.

•\tTrain new hires on standard work and inhouse procedures

•\tAssist Leads and performs additional task as needed related to department goals

Additional Skills & Qualifications

•\tRelevant experience in setting up Vertical / Horizontal CNC Milling Machines.

•\tFamiliar with and basic knowledge of Mastercam / Solid works

•\tSolid understanding of machine controls using Haas / Fanuc CNC equipment

•\tAbility to navigate through set ups with little to no assistance.

•\tExperience in precision measuring instruments such as calipers, depth gages, thread gages, pin gages, and other measuring tools.

•\tSolid knowledge in G & M CNC codes

•\tStrong interpersonal skill to assist in training requirements

•\tWork with Technicians, Leads & Supervision to diagnose and solve production related issues

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
