Job Title: CNC Machinist - $24 - $36/hr - Direct Hire

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled machinist to set up and operate CNC machines. The ideal candidate will be adept at reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings, performing set-ups, changeovers, and teardowns, while ensuring quality assurance through inspection, dimensional checks, part appearance, and conformance.

ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC machines effectively and efficiently.Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings accurately.Perform set-ups, changeovers, and teardowns of machinery.Understand and apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.Operate Mills and Lathes with proficiency.Load and unload machines safely and correctly.Conduct quality assurance including inspection, dimensional checks, and conformance checks.Perform minor maintenance and troubleshooting tasks as needed.Essential SkillsCNC Mill and Lathe operation.Blueprint interpretation.Set-ups and teardowns.Changeovers.Understanding of GD&T.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with drill press and shear operations.Troubleshooting skills.Mechanical aptitude.Experience with braiding, lathe, and machine operating.Knowledge of machine operation, programming, SolidWorks, and machining.Familiarity with grinding, machine operation, programming, SolidWorks, and machining.Experience with Autocad, system layout, automation, development, debugging, and caliper usage.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $74880.00/yr.
