Job Description
Join our team as a CNC Machinist on the 1st Shift, working Monday through Friday from 6am to 2:30pm, with flexible start and stop times if needed. We are seeking a skilled machinist to operate and set up milling machines, both CNC and manual, to fabricate precision parts.
ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate milling machines to fabricate precision parts, interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical instructions.Select and install cutting tools, fixtures, and accessories, performing machine setup including alignment, calibration, and tool adjustments.Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure they meet specifications, identifying and troubleshooting machining issues.Perform routine maintenance on milling machines and ensure equipment is in good working condition, adhering to safety guidelines.Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and team members to optimize machining processes and meet production goals, providing feedback on design and process improvements.Essential SkillsProficiency in operating and programming CNC milling machines, such as HAAS or Fanuc controls.Strong knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and materials.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).Minimum 3 years of experience as a milling machinist in a precision manufacturing environment.Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and a team-oriented mindset.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in machining is preferred.Certifications in machining or CNC programming.Familiarity with CAD/CAM software is a plus.Experience working in AS9100 or ISO 9001 certified environments.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a clean, temperature-controlled facility with an open floor plan segmented into individual workstations. The dress code includes closed-toe shoes or sneakers and clean jeans or shorts. The work schedule is 1st shift, Monday to Friday, with flexible start times between 6am and 9am, requiring an 8-hour workday.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $58000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
