**CNC Machinist - 2nd Shift - Pay up to $30/hr** **_Call 330 224 1231 to set up an interview!_** **Shift Description:** + 5:00pm - 3:00am **Job Description** We have two openings for the position of CNC Machinist on the second shift, working from 5 PM to 3 AM, totaling 50-55 hours per week. You will be working in a job shop environment equipped with brand new machinery, and our business is booked out for years. The role involves operating specified machines with maximum efficiency, ensuring all fixtures, tooling, materials, and setup items are utilized effectively. **Responsibilities** + Review the Production Part Machine schedule daily. + Understand and follow Machine Operator Instructions/Workzone for each part. + Operate machines to achieve maximum throughput and utilization. + Communicate anticipated and actual completion times to management. + Alert management to potential future operational conflicts. + Perform inspections on machines to ensure parts meet tolerance requirements. + Verify part thickness through off-machine inspections. + Prepare machined parts for shipment by cleaning and wrapping them. + Update reasons for idle time daily and engage in activities to improve throughput. + Maintain a clean and organized work area. + Complete required preventative maintenance activities. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of CNC experience. + Proficiency in G&M Codes. + Ability to edit programs. + Competence in using blueprints, calipers, and micrometers. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with Horizontal Boring Mill and Vertical Milling Machine is advantageous. **Why Work Here?** You will have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art machinery, including 17 5-axis CNC machining centers, 8 3-axis CNC machining centers, and 6 horizontal CNC machining centers within a 124,000-square-foot facility. The CNC machinist must be diligent and goal-oriented to meet or exceed department utilization and throughput targets. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $66560.00/yr.
