Job Description
Join a dynamic team at a leading company specializing in the manufacturing of plastic and rubber components to support downstream operations. We are seeking two skilled CNC Lathe Machinists for our 2nd shift to operate CNC or manual machines, fabricating production parts to precise specifications. This role involves setting up and operating CNC machines, including FANUC and MAZAK, under supervision to produce high-quality parts. The position requires performing various setups depending on client requests and programming CNC lathes, preferably to machine plastics, metals, and rubber components.
ResponsibilitiesOperate one or more CNC or manual machines to fabricate parts to print specifications.Perform setups and operate CNC machines, including FANUC and MAZAK, for production.Run 2 to 3 setups per shift or per week, depending on client requests.Program and operate various CNC lathes, such as Haas, to machine components.Study blueprints, sketches, and drawings to determine dimensions and tolerances.Set controls to regulate machining factors such as feed, speed, and coolant flow.Run dry cycles to ensure safety and accuracy before production begins.Implement new methods of setup and process improvements.Report changes to production rates and process changes to management.Provide production rates for quoting purposes as requested.Essential SkillsMinimum of 3+ years of experience performing setups and edits, familiar with G codes and M codes.Experience working with up to 4-5 axis and +/- 1/2 in .0001 tolerance.3-5 years of experience on either FANUC or MAZAK CNC machines.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to study and interpret blueprints, sketches, and drawings.Proficiency in setting up controls to regulate machining factors.Capability to implement new methods and technologies for process improvements.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is a very clean and orderly manufacturing and production setting, with climate control to ensure comfort. However, it can be hot and loud at times, so previous experience in a similar environment is beneficial. Safety is a priority; candidates must have their own safety glasses and steel-toe shoes, while other necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided. The 2nd shift operates from 4 PM to 12 AM with occasional Saturday work.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
