CNC Machine Operator

Pay Rate: $19 - 20/hr, based on exp. 

Shift hours: must be open to work 5/ 6am - 1:30/ 2:30pm OR 1:30/ 2:30pm - 9/ 10pm. Monday to Friday 

Overview:

CNC Operator to load and unload parts on CNC Machines. Operate CNC machines, lathes and mills

The CNC Cutting Operator I will operate cutting equipment by loading material, selecting cut files, monitoring operation to ensure parts meet quality standards and department schedules are met. 

Duties: 
•   Inspect quality using common shop equipment, and adjust material, fixturing, or tooling
•   Select appropriate material stock, and manually cut to working size
•   Load material into CNC machines, apply fixturing, and select tooling
•   Machine fixtures and jigs to support process
•   Prep, inspect, finish, and join parts using manual equipment and hand tools
•   Maintain machinery, tools, and equipment in a clean and organized state
•   Submit requests for restocking materials or supplies

Job Requirements:
 Min 1 year of experience as a CNC Setup/ Operator

Experience using gauges to inspect parts

Ability to accurately read, understand and demonstrate how to use a tape measure to the nearest 1/16” of an inch. Ability to work overtime as needed including weekends.
Good communication skills
 Experience working with hands to perform manual labor
High school diploma or equivalent
 Able to stand for long periods of time
 Must be mechanically inclined
 Must have excellent attendance
 Must have a good attitude and can work well with others
