CNC Machine Operator
**Job Title: CNC Machine Operator** **Job Description** This role requires more than just operating machinery. The CNC Machine Operator will set up machines, perform tool changes, and conduct tear downs. They will read micrometers and calipers, interpret blueprints and drawings to create parts, and inspect those parts to ensure flawlessness. Minor machine maintenance is expected, with training provided if necessary. **Responsibilities** + Set up CNC machines (Mills or Lathes). + Perform tool changes and tear downs. + Operate CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment. + Read and interpret blueprints and drawings. + Utilize measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers. + Inspect manufactured parts for quality assurance. + Conduct minor maintenance on machines. **Essential Skills** + 1+ years setting up machines (Mill or Lathe). + 1+ years performing tool changes on Mills or Lathes. + 1+ years of CNC operation experience. + Ability to read and use micrometers and calipers. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to read blueprints. + Experience in machine maintenance. + Experience in automotive manufacturing is a plus. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy flexible hours after transitioning to a direct hire. Join a company with a rich history in the power transmission market and become part of an international team. **Work Environment** The work environment includes a first shift from Monday to Friday (6:00 AM to 2:30 PM), a second shift from Monday to Friday (3:00 PM to 11:00 PM), and a third shift from Sunday to Thursday (11:30 PM to 2:30 AM). Employees train on the first shift initially. The company is a well-established player in the power transmission market, with facilities that are bright, fairly clean, and equipped with a long line of machines. Although not climate-controlled, the environment is not excessively hot, with a slight scent of oil and metal. The second plant features a large warehouse and small assembly stations. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of South Haven, MI. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
