Job Title: CNC Machine Operator

The 2nd shift runs from Monday to Thursday-2 PM to 12:30 AM

Job Description

The CNC Machine Operator will be responsible for operating CNC Vertical Milling Machines and ensuring the efficient production of high-quality components. This role involves lifting parts up to 40 lbs, with most parts averaging around 25 lbs.

The operator will be required to read blueprints and work orders, select and build tooling, and make necessary adjustments to maintain tolerance during the machining process.

Quality inspection of parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges is also essential.

Responsibilities

Operate CNC Vertical Milling Machines and other related machinery.Read and interpret blueprints and work orders.Select, build, and set up tooling; adjust tooling based on wear to maintain tolerance.Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.Utilize a forklift to move boxes of finished products and raw materials.

Essential Skills

3+ years of CNC Machining Metals experience, specifically in Milling/Lathe operations.Ability to set up CNC Machines and perform quality inspections.Experience in building and setting up tooling.Proficiency in making adjustments to tools to account for wear.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Familiarity with g&m codes and precision measuring techniques.

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
