**Job Title: Production Machinist** Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and mechanically inclined individual to join our team as a Production Machinist. This role involves assisting in the machining of large metal parts for production, operating a 4-axis horizontal mill, and maintaining a clean and efficient work area. Responsibilities + Assist in machining large metal parts for production. + Operate 4-axis horizontal mill proficiently. + Change inserts and clean the work area around the machine. + Read and interpret blueprints. + Use precision measurement instruments such as micrometers and calipers. + Perform production run set-ups and use tooling, fixturing, and segment selection. + Adjust machine settings to accommodate different stock sizes and configurations. + Remove cut stock and verify dimensions. + Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills. + Lift and handle materials weighing 50-75 lbs. Essential Skills + Mechanical inclination and aptitude. + Interest in becoming a production machinist. + 1-3 years of machining experience. + Proficiency with hand tools. + Experience with calipers and micrometers. + Basic math comprehension for precise measurements. + Ability to lift 50-75 lbs. + Experience running 24" and 36" grinders. + Experience in production run set-ups and use of tooling, fixturing, and safety procedures for grinders. + Ability to work proactively in an industrial manufacturing environment.
