Our client, an industrial manufacturing organization, is seeking a CNC Machine Operator to join their team. As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, reliability, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** CNC Machine Operator
**Location:** Columbus, IN
**Pay Range:** $19 per hour + (depending on experience)
**Shift:** 2nd shift: 3:00pm - 11:30pm; 3rd shift: 11:00pm - 7:30am
**What's the Job?**
+ Set up and operate CNC machines (lathes, mills, etc.) to produce precision metal and plastic components.
+ Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to ensure accurate machining.
+ Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
+ Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot CNC equipment as needed.
+ Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure they meet specifications.
**What's Needed?**
+ Prior experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing setting (minimum 2 years).
+ Strong understanding of machining processes and materials.
+ Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
+ Familiarity with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
+ Mechanical aptitude and keen attention to detail.
