**Job Title: CNC Machinist** Job Description We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines, utilizing blueprints to ensure product accuracy, and editing codes for precise cuts. This role requires the use of Fanuc and Haas controls, as well as proficiency with micrometers, calipers, and tape measures. You will work with tolerances from .002 - .003 and handle larger parts and machines. Responsibilities + Perform 1-2 set-ups per day on Haas machines. + Utilize blueprints to ensure products meet specifications. + Set up tooling for each job and edit codes for correct cuts. + Operate Fanuc and Haas controls effectively. + Log work in the computer at various stages: order received, set up, running, and completion. + Work with tolerances ranging from .002 - .003. + Handle set up of 3, 4, and 4 axes CNC mills. + Complete orders as given. Essential Skills + CNC set up experience. + Ability to read blueprints. + Experience editing G & M codes. + Proficiency with CNC mills. + Experience with Fanuc and Haas controls. Work Environment Our facility operates two shifts: 1st shift (6am-3:30pm or 5am-3:30pm) and 2nd shift (3:30pm -11:00pm). Steel-toe shoes are required. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of HARVEY, Illinois. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
