Our client, a subsidiary of a major international heavy equipment manufacturer, is seeking CNC Machine Operators to join their operations team. Responsibilities: + Responsible for CNC Machinery, demonstrating proficiency in fixtures, tooling, controls, and conducting ongoing equipment maintenance and care + Conduct minimal deburring and surface protection on work pieces + Take detailed measurements and preliminary evaluations to ensure workpiece acceptability troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during machining process + Maintain comprehensive documentation and records relating to production, downtime, quality and other relevant metrics + Assist in fixture set up + Consistently meet minimum production output and quality standards + Responsible for area housekeeping including machine, storage area, etc. + Ensure that these activities are carried out in accordance with current company policies and procedures, especially safety guidelines Requirements: + High School Diploma or equivalent and 1 or more years of recent machine operation experience, preferably in a metal cutting and/or fabricating? industry + Able to measure accurately using various measuring tools as well as perform basic shop math and blueprint reading + Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate: + Knowledge of operating requirements + Experience with manufacturing equipment, including different types of cutting tools and their appropriate usage + Effective communication with team members, supervisors, and engineers + Understand entire manufacturing processes, standards procedures, and policies + Operates with manufacturing safety Why People Stay “I started here thinking it would be temporary.
