The candidate will inspect parts after they are machined, perform general assembly, accurately set up sheets, read blueprints, cut semi-finished parts, and measure parts for accuracy. Experience using calipers and micrometers is required. **Responsibilities** + Machine friction surfaces for clutches and brake magnets and rotors. + Inspect parts post-machining to ensure quality standards. + Perform general assembly tasks. + Accurately set up sheets and read blueprints. + Cut semi-finished parts and measure them for accuracy. + Use calipers and micrometers effectively. **Essential Skills** + Experience with calipers and micrometers. + Proficiency in machine operation and general assembly. + Ability to read blueprints and use hand and power tools. + Skill in performing visual inspections and completing documentation. + Basic math skills. + Ability to lift 50 pounds. + Experience with blueprints and parts inspection. **Work Environment** The work environment is a clean machining area connected to the manufacturing floor and warehouse. It houses several CNC machines and other equipment in a compact space. While the atmosphere is laid back, it can be loud when machines are operating. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shakopee, Minnesota. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
