Join a dynamic and innovative family-owned shop that specializes in crafting precision tooling for cold header and fastener machines within the construction and aerospace sectors. This role offers the opportunity to program Mazatrol from scratch in a cleaner shop environment with newer machinery, predominantly using Mazak Mills and Lathes. ResponsibilitiesProgram Mazatrol from scratch and manage the entire process on the machine from start to finish.Perform setup, tool changes, offsets, and run the machine efficiently.Read and interpret blueprints accurately.Utilize measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and bore gauges.Maintain tight tolerances and ensure precision in machining.Manage a personal toolbox and tools.Work primarily with steel materials.Essential Skills6+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist on Mazak Lathes.Proficient in programming Mazatrol controllers from scratch.Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings.Experience in using measurement tools including micrometers, calipers, and bore gauges.Capability to hold tight tolerances in machining.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with 3-5 Axis machining.Background in tooling experience for fasteners.Prototype or similar job shop experience preferred.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
