Our client, a leader in precision manufacturing, is seeking a CNC Lathe Operator / Machinist to join their team. As a CNC Lathe Operator / Machinist, you will be part of a dedicated manufacturing team supporting high-quality production. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** CNC Lathe Operator / Machinist – 2nd Shift
**Location:** Chesterfield, MO
**Pay Range:** $24/hr to $30/hr
**Shift:** 2nd Shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM)
**What's the Job?**
+ Set up and operate CNC lathes and CNC mills to machine metal components.
+ Write, test, and adjust CNC programs to ensure optimal performance.
+ Fabricate custom fixtures when needed to support machining operations.
+ Perform machining tasks such as center drilling, drilling, reaming, tapping, boring, and milling.
+ Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools and complete quality checks.
**What's Needed?**
+ Proven experience as a CNC lathe operator or machinist in a manufacturing environment.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
+ Skilled in using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments.
+ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
+ Ability to work independently and efficiently on 2nd shift.
