CNC Machinist – 2nd Shift
Pay Rate: $27.00/hour
🕑 2nd Shift – Monday–Thursday, 2:15 PM–12:45 AM
✅ Four (4) 10-hour shifts
📚 Training will be conducted on 1st Shift (Mon–Fri)

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with strong setup and operational experience on Haas machines. The ideal candidate will be comfortable adjusting offsets, reading blueprints, and performing quality checks. 5-Axis experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Set up, layout, and operate CNC lathes and/or mills
Read blueprints and job orders for specifications such as dimensions, tolerances, tooling, fixtures, feeds, and speeds
Select, position, and secure tooling and workpieces
Adjust machine controls to set proper feeds, speeds, and depths of cut
Set up fixtures and start machine operations
Read and use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
Monitor machining operations to ensure quality and conformance to specifications
Perform quality checks throughout production
Maintain a clean and organized work area (5S standards)
Follow all company safety rules and PPE requirements (steel toe shoes, hearing protection, safety glasses)
Communicate with supervisors or engineers regarding errors or inconsistencies
Rotate job assignments across work cells as needed
Perform related duties as assigned

Package finished products when required
Identify and report defective materials or questionable conditions


Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED
1+ year of CNC machining experience preferred
Haas setup and offset adjustment experience required
5-Axis experience a plus


Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for up to 90% of the shift
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
Good hand-eye coordination
Basic math skills (addition & subtraction)
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
