**Job Title: CNC Lathe Machinist (28-35/hr)** **Job Description** Join our state-of-the-art precision machining shop as a CNC setup lathe machinist. You will work with advanced technology to set up and run machines focused on producing close tolerance parts. **Responsibilities** + Partner with the Lathe Manager and Engineering Department, ensuring effective teamwork. + Produce precision CNC machined parts by setting up, troubleshooting programs, and operating CNC Hyper Quadrex Turning Centers. + Maintain accurate record-keeping and documentation. + Troubleshoot processes, adjust, and reprogram controls as necessary. + Monitor tool wear and perform quality assurance. + Work exclusively with Fanuc controllers. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in CNC lathe setup with at least 3 years of experience. + 3+ years of program edit experience, with preference for GibbsCam. + Ability to read blueprints and apply G-Code. + Experience with sub-spindle, live tooling, and CNC setup. + Must own a personal set of CNC machining tools. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Familiarity with Hyper Quadrex Lathe machines is preferred but not required. + Experience with twin spindle and twin turret machines is beneficial. **Why Work Here?** Work in a family-owned, well-equipped facility with a focus on employee development. Machinists collaborate closely with Tool Crib attendants and the Engineering Department. Our operations are focused on industries such as Military, Aerospace, Medical, and Computers (Data Storage), using exclusively Fanuc-controlled machines with G&M codes. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fridley, MN. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
