**Job Title: Lathe Machinist** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Lathe Machinist to join our team. The successful candidate will work with multi-axis machines to set up, operate, and maintain equipment. You will perform tool changes and offsets as necessary and edit and troubleshoot programs using G & M codes. The role involves working with a variety of materials, including steels, aluminum, and plastic, and requires checking parts with precision tools. The position involves working with tight tolerances (+/- 0.0001") and performing 1-3 set-ups per week for work orders ranging from 20-10,000 parts with run times up to several hours. **Responsibilities** + Set up, operate, and maintain multi-axis machines. + Perform tool changes and offsets as needed. + Edit and troubleshoot programs using G & M codes. + Work with a variety of materials, including steels, aluminum, and plastic. + Check parts using microscopes, micrometers, comparators, gauge pins, thread gauges, and calipers. + Ensure compliance with tight tolerances (+/- 0.0001"). + Conduct 1-3 set-ups per week for work orders with varying part quantities and run times.
