**Job Title: CNC Lathe Machinist** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist to join our precision manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC lathes to produce high-quality components in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate CNC lathes to machine parts to exact specifications. + Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions. + Select appropriate tooling and fixtures for each job. + Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency. + Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges. + Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues to minimize downtime. + Maintain accurate production and inspection records. + Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines and work area. + Follow all safety and quality protocols. **Essential Skills** + Experience in lathe setup and operation, especially with dual spindle CNC lathes. + Proficiency in Fanuc controls and CAD/CAM programming. + Ability to hold a tolerance of +/- 2/100ths. + Experience working with hardened metals such as Inconel and Titanium. + Strong blueprint reading and troubleshooting skills. + Experience with grinding. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in machining preferred. + 2–5 years of experience operating CNC lathes in a manufacturing environment. + Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and GD&T. + Familiarity with G-code and CNC programming (experience with both Fanuc and Haas controls is a plus). + Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Experience with multi-axis lathes or live tooling is preferred. + Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy the benefits of a family-oriented work environment with competitive pay, PTO, and select Federal and major holidays off.
