Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist capable of setting up and running production for CNC turning lathe machines in the lathe department. The role involves assisting with complex part programming for multi-spindle, multi-tool turning centers using G and M codes and live tooling. The ideal candidate will control tooling, understand department machinery capabilities, and ensure all necessary paperwork is correctly completed.
Responsibilities
Set up and run production for CNC turning lathe machines.Assist with complex part programming for multi-spindle, multi-tool turning centers.Control tooling including inserts and collets.Understand and be aware of all department machinery capabilities and limitations.Fill out necessary paperwork accurately, including routing verification and corrections.Determine tooling and fixturing needs.Coordinate chip collection as needed.Monitor equipment and machines for safety and mechanical issues.Essential Skills
3+ years of setup knowledge of CNC Lathe.5+ years of on-the-job experience.Experience with Okuma, Hardinge, DMG Mori machines.Experience working in a job shop environment.Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, and machining.Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.Technical or machining courses are desirable.Experience in blueprint reading and troubleshooting.Physical ability to lift/carry 20-45 pounds occasionally.Capability to stoop, reach frequently, and stand frequently.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $32.00/hr.
