We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to join our Milling department. This role involves working on our 2nd shift team with a 4-day work week, Monday through Thursday, and offers a $3/hour shift premium.
ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC lathes and machining centers.Program and run CNC Mill Machining Centers.Perform tool changes, make edits, and offsets.Read and interpret blueprints with expert-level knowledge of G-Code.Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools.Utilize live tooling effectively.
Essential Skills5+ years of experience in CNC lathe setup and operation.Expertise in blueprint reading and G-Code.Ability to perform tool changes and make necessary adjustments.Own basic tools required for the job.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with CNC programming and Solidworks.Knowledge of Fanuc and Haas controls.Familiarity with various machining tools and equipment.

Work Environment
Work in a job shop environment with approximately 50 employees. The primary equipment includes Mor Seiki machines for turning and milling. The 1st shift runs from 5 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Thursday, with optional overtime on Fridays. The company serves various industries, including medical devices, surgical instruments, diesel, automotive, and agricultural sectors.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
