**Job Title: CNC Lathe Machinist**
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lathe Machinist to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality machining processes, maintaining safety practices, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our operations.
Responsibilities
+ Notify supervisor of abnormal situations for corrective action.
+ Make recommendations for improvements in methods of performance of work.
+ Maintain good housekeeping conditions and enforce safety practices.
+ Complete and maintain any required documentation.
Essential Skills
+ Strong Geometric Dimensional & Tolerances, and math skills.
+ Ability to read machining CNC programs and understand common 'G' and 'M' codes.
+ Experience with Siemens controls for lathe machine tools.
+ Understanding of basic tabletop gauges – Micrometers, Calipers, bore micrometers.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Good verbal and written communication skills.
+ Organization and time management skills.
+ Problem-solving and analysis capabilities.
+ Experience in manual machining, including manual mill/lathe.
+ Preferably from a trade school or AJAC with a strong desire to learn and grow within the company.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tukwila, Washington.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $35.00/hr.
