Job Description
A dynamic and innovative contract manufacturer specializing in aerospace and defense products is seeking a skilled Lathe Machinist. This role involves precision machining for key clients, utilizing advanced technology to produce high-quality components.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate various machines for precision machining, including those with live tooling capabilities.Work with Mazatrol programs to ensure accurate and efficient production.Perform setups, operate machines, change tooling, and troubleshoot as necessary.Machining materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, and nickel.Handle both low and high production runs efficiently.Essential Skills
Proficiency in CNC machining and lathe operation.Experience with Mazak lathes and DMG turning machines.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).Knowledge of Mazatrol or strong G&M code experienceAdditional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with manual mills and lathes.Competency in mathematics, particularly shop math.Proficiency with measuring tools.Ability to work with tight tolerances.Benefits

The work environment is a climate-controlled, clean machine shop equipped with a wide range of CNC machines and capabilities. The facility is well-lit and continually updated with new machines, providing a modern and efficient workspace.

This is a Permanent position based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
