**Job Title: CNC Lathe Machinist** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Lathe Machinist who can ensure high-quality machining operations in our aerospace machine workshop. The successful candidate will be responsible for notifying supervisors of abnormal situations, making recommendations for improvements, maintaining good housekeeping conditions, and completing required documentation. **Essential Skills** + Strong Geometric Dimensional & Tolerances and math skills. + Ability to read machining CNC programs and have a basic understanding of common 'G' and 'M' codes. + Experience with Siemens controls for lathe machine tools. + Understanding of basic tabletop gages such as Micrometers, Calipers, and bore micrometers. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Good verbal and written communication skills. + Organization and time management skills. + Problem-solving and analysis. + Preferably someone out of trade school or AJAC with a strong desire to learn and grow. + Manual machining experience with manual mill/lathe. + Troubleshooting skills. **Why Work Here?** Our company values growth and promotes from within, offering comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage. The available shifts include overnight and weekend hours, with various scheduling options such as Sun-Thu overnight, Mon-Fri late afternoon to midnight, Mon-Thu early morning to late afternoon, and Fri-Sun early morning to late afternoon. Employees working the Fri-Sun shift work 36 hours but are compensated for 40. **Looking forward to working with you!** **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
