CNC Lathe Machinist
**Job Title: Lathe Machinist** **Job Description** Join a family-owned fabrication and machine shop in Clackamas as a Lathe Machinist. We are seeking an individual with specific CNC lathe setup experience and some knowledge of G code editing. This position is ideal for someone experienced who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and can work independently on CNC vertical turning lathes. **Responsibilities** + Read and interpret blueprints. + Load tools and run parts efficiently. + Set up and operate CNC lathe machines. + Troubleshoot and program CNC machines as necessary. **Essential Skills** + CNC lathe setup experience. + Knowledge of G code editing. + Experience with CNC Vertical Turning Lathe (VTL). + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Proficiency in operating and inspecting parts. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Prior CNC machining experience in a job shop environment preferred. + Flexibility and adaptability in a job shop setting. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a great family environment with a small, friendly staff. Experience a flexible job shop setting where adaptability is key. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clackamas, Oregon. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
