**Job Title: CNC Lathe Machinist** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist with extensive experience in setting up and operating CNC machines, specifically focused on high mix part numbers. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to troubleshoot complex machining problems independently and manufacture parts to meet customer standards. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate CNC machines. + Troubleshoot complex CNC machining job problems with minimal supervision. + Program CNC machines to produce high quality parts. + Manufacture parts in accordance with customer standards. + Demonstrate understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). + Apply mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills to improve production processes. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of experience in CNC machining, including setup. + Proficiency in programming CNC machines. + Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. + Demonstrated understanding of GD&T. + Critical thinking skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in aerospace industry is a plus. + Familiarity with fast-paced production environments. + Ability to perform quick setups. + Enjoy working in a prestigious CNC machining environment. **Why Work Here?** We offer a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) with matching, health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, paid time off, a referral program, and tuition reimbursement. **Work Environment** You will work in a general machine shop setting, utilizing the latest technologies and equipment in a fast-paced production environment. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Loves Park, Illinois. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $56000.00 - $68500.00/yr.
