**Job Title: Lathe Machinist** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Lathe Machinist to join our team. This role involves setting up and operating CNC multifunction turn twin spindle and twin or triple turret lathes, primarily Nakamura. The ideal candidate will have experience in an aerospace shop, be familiar with a variety of gauges, and have the ability to read part prints while ensuring parts meet customer specifications. Troubleshooting and leadership skills are advantageous. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate CNC multifunction turn twin spindle and twin or triple turret lathes. + Program CNC lathes as needed. + Read and interpret part prints to ensure parts meet customer specifications. + Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the machining process. + Collaborate with the team to achieve goals. + Leverage experience with Twin spindle, Twin turret machines, live tooling, and Fanuc controls. + Utilize experience on mills or swiss machines. **Essential Skills** + Minimum 1 year of experience in setup on twin turret lathes. + Proficiency in CNC programming and setup. + Experience with Esprit and CNC Swiss. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in an aerospace shop environment. + Previous experience as a foreman or lead person. + Strong problem-solving skills. + Ability to work collaboratively with others. **Why Work Here?** We offer an enriching environment with opportunities for growth, including tuition reimbursement and yearly training programs.
