Job Description
A manufacturer in the Greenfield, IN area is seeking a skilled Laser Operator for their 3rd shift. This role involves operating CNC laser machinery and making precision adjustments based on quality assessments.
Responsibilities
Set up CNC laser machinery for production.Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate machine operations.Perform quality checks and make necessary adjustments.Change out tooling as needed for different production tasks.Cut holes in aluminum and carbon steel sheets or rolls.Utilize critical math skills and a tape measure for precise measurements.Use various quality instruments such as gauges and calipers to ensure product quality.Essential Skills
Experience in blueprint reading and interpretation.Proficiency in setting up and operating laser cutting machinery.Strong troubleshooting skills.Experience in job shop and custom fabrication.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with MIG welding is beneficial.Previous experience as a CNC Laser Operator in a job shop environment is preferred.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The position operates on a 3rd shift schedule, from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM, Sunday through Thursday. The facility provides a modern and well-equipped environment for efficient and precise laser operations.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenfield, IN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
