In this role, you will operate CNC laser cutting equipment, set up jobs, and ensure parts meet print and quality specifications. You’ll work closely with a supportive production team in a fast-paced fabrication environment that values safety, reliability, and craftsmanship. This is a great opportunity for someone with laser operating experience or strong mechanical aptitude who is looking for long-term stability and room to grow. Responsibilities Operate and monitor CNC laser cutting machines to process sheet metal and plate materialsRead and interpret blueprints, job travelers, and technical drawings to set up jobs and programsLoad/unload and stage materials safely using material-handling equipment (pallet jacks/forklifts)Inspect finished parts using measurement tools to verify dimensions and tolerancesPerform basic machine maintenance and assist with troubleshooting while following safety and quality standards  Qualifications and RequirementsPrevious experience operating a CNC laser preferredAbility to read and understand blueprints and fabrication drawingsStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsExperience using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measuresBasic understanding of CNC controls and production workflowAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as neededReliable transportation and strong attendance recordForklift experience or certification a plus  Your New Organization:P&S Machining and Fabrication is a trusted local manufacturer specializing in precision machining, metal fabrication, and custom industrial solutions.
