**Job Title: CNC Inspector** **Job Description** We are seeking a detail-oriented CNC Inspector to inspect machined parts for industrial machines using micrometers and calipers. The role requires proficiency in interpreting blueprints and experience with mills, lathes, and tool and die setup and design. Familiarity with specific tolerances is essential. **Responsibilities** + Inspect machined parts using micrometers and calipers. + Interpret and work from blueprints. + Operate and inspect parts using mills and lathes. + Engage in tooling, setup, and design processes. + Ensure adherence to specific tolerances during inspections. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of experience or equivalent education in operating manual machines. + Ability to use measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers. + Experience with CNC machines, manual lathes, and machining processes. + Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in troubleshooting and changeover operations. + Knowledge of g&m codes and CNC programming. + Familiarity with toolroom operations and fixture design. **Why Work Here?** Join a small, family-owned company that values its employees by offering great benefits, including 100% premium coverage for health insurance. Double pay is offered for Saturday shifts if required. **Work Environment** Work alongside 25-30 colleagues in a very clean and organized shop, with close collaboration with other departments. The position is for the 2nd shift from 12 pm to 8 pm, with flexibility to work a 4-day week with 10-hour shifts or a standard 5-day week with 8-hour shifts. The shop is meticulously cleaned once a week. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Des Moines, Iowa. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $35.00/hr.
