Job Description
A CNC Horizontal Mill Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC horizontal milling machines to produce precision parts. This role involves interpreting blueprints, programming machines, performing quality checks, and troubleshooting issues to ensure efficient and accurate production.
Responsibilities:Operate CNC mills: Operating the machines to produce parts according to specificationsRead & interpret blueprints: Understanding technical drawings and specifications to determine the required dimensions and tolerances for the finished partsQuality Control: Performing in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments to ensure parts meet quality standardsMonitor machine operations: Observing the machining process, ensuring the machine is running smoothly, and making necessary adjustmentsSafety: Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
Qualifications and Requirements:Previous CNC horizontal mill experienceStrong blueprint reading & inspection skillsDependable, good attendance is a mustMust be able to pass pre-employment drug screen & background check
