Job Title: CNC Grinding Technician
Job Description

ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC grinding machines for precision ID, OD, and form grinding.Study blueprints to plan the sequence of operations and visualize the grinding tasks.Utilize diamond and super-abrasive grinding wheels and perform wheel dressing.Perform various grinding techniques such as plunge, traverse, face, and angle grinding.Use precision measuring instruments to work with tolerances as fine as .0001 inches.Select and use appropriate equipment such as grinding magnets, vises, and sine plates.Apply trigonometry and geometry skills for accurate angular and position calculations.Address unexpected taper and inaccuracies in grinding processes.Operate multiple machines simultaneously and maintain cleanliness in work areas.Essential Skills3-5 years of experience in setting up and operating CNC grinding machines for ID/OD/Surface Grinding.Proficiency in using precision measuring devices like micrometers, calipers, and gauges.Experience in performing full setups and editing programs using G and M codes.Ability to read blueprints and setup sheets.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in the machining industry, particularly in automotive or aerospace sectors.Manual grinding experience.Familiarity with Siemens controls (old controls) and MasterCam prints.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is climate-controlled, organized, and clean throughout the facility. Employees work a four-day, 10-hour shift schedule, with overtime available on Fridays and Saturdays.

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
