Job Title: Grinder
Job Description

The role involves setting up and operating machines to produce high-precision components according to customer specifications and guidelines. The position requires the use of various CNC and manual grinders as well as vertical and horizontal hones to ensure the production of components at the required rate.

ResponsibilitiesStart the machine and perform start-up inspections.Ensure the proper gauging is used for the intended job and understand blueprints.Produce precision components according to the blueprint specifications.Maintain production rate and quality standards.Perform necessary part inspections using specified gauging instruments.Conduct statistical process control to ensure quality.Clean the workstation and check machine fluid levels, refilling as needed.Set up for new or existing components to be honed and obtain necessary tooling.Troubleshoot equipment and processes as needed.Essential SkillsProficiency in CNC precision grinding.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Experience with set-ups and changeovers.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with CNC honing and bore machines.Why Work Here?

The space includes a modern break room and training area, featuring a golf simulator and hot/cold food options. The Hanover Park facility boasts 120 CNC machines, comprising mills and lathes equipped with various controllers, all based on G & M Code.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bartlett, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
