**Description** SAIC is seeking a **CNC/ Welder** for our site in Hanahan, SC. **Job Description:** + Will primarily be tasked with performing moderate to complex vehicle integration task to include some metal work, welding, and reviewing customer drawings + Provide assistance to related support areas not limiting to kitting, logistics, and quality + The ability to read and understand metal fabrication drawings and perform additive and subtractive manufacturing functions + Support engineering activities such as test and fabrication + Work Safely in a Machine Shop environment + Communicate with leadership, team members, and the customer **Qualifications** **Required Education and Experience:** + Highschool and two (2) year related experience **Required Experience:** + Must be able to safely complete all the physical demands of the job in a manufacturing environment, including but not limited to the following: + Experience operating a welding and operating CNC machines + Lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying up to 50 pounds, on a regular basis + Walking, bending, stooping, sitting, or squatting for extended periods + A familiarity with machine shop equipment, quality tools, or hand tools needed for metal work + Familiar with the use and operation of power tools is necessary + Able to obtain a Forklift License + Attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately **Required Clearance:** + US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
