Job Description
In this role, you will maintain pre-determined inventory levels of consumables and spare parts, while monitoring usage rates to meet maintenance demands. You will draft purchase orders from various vendors and provide administrative support for maintenance initiatives. Handling maintenance calls to support the production team and assisting with operations during start-up and shutdown procedures are key aspects of this position.
ResponsibilitiesDraft purchase orders and provide administrative support for maintenance initiatives.Handle maintenance calls to support the production team upon request.Assist operations during start-up and shutdown procedures.Support the Mold shop in maintaining and performing preventative maintenance on Master Molds.Keep daily, weekly, and monthly records of fluids needed for the equipment.Maintain assets, log inventory, record work orders, and establish a preventative maintenance schedule using the CMMS.Balance and prioritize maintenance tasks to align with production requirements.Request pricing and issue purchase orders through the utilization of J.D. Edwards software.Develop metrics using data from the CMMS.Generate reports for Maintenance management personnel with a fundamental comprehension of general building maintenance tasks.Engage in process improvement and lean manufacturing concepts.Identify and resolve problems proactively.Assist and support the maintenance team in equipment and facility repairs.Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs on forklifts and mobile equipment.Essential SkillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel.High School Diploma or GED.3-5 years of experience managing maintenance software.Experience working in a fast-paced and high-volume work environment.Intermediate experience utilizing Microsoft/Windows-based computer systems.Proactive self-starter with strong attention to detail.Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to effectively interact with employees at all levels, including executive leadership.Why Work Here?
