Job Description

Join a dynamic aerospace contractor in Huntsville, AL as a CMM Technician for full-time employment. Contribute to high-quality standards in precision measurement and inspection.

ResponsibilitiesPerform inspections using micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, and coordinate measuring machines.Utilize Romer Arm, AS1 Scanner, Leica AT960 and AT402 Laser Trackers for accurate measurements.Execute or witness test procedures and generate test reports.Read and interpret drawings, assembly schematics, and specifications.Prepare handwritten or computer-generated inspection reports.Generate quality documentation, including inspection reports, bubble prints, Certificates of Conformity, and Non-Conformance Reports.Essential SkillsProficiency in standard measurement equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators.Experience using Romer Arm, AS1 Scanner, and Leica Laser Trackers.Fluency in GD&T per ASMEY14.5-2009 standards.Capability to execute or witness test procedures and generate test reports.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED with 3-5 years of relevant experience.Experience with Spatial Analyzer or similar PCMM software is preferred.Experience in inspection of complex aerospace hardware and non-conforming materials.Knowledge of ISO9001/AS9100 quality systems and AS9102 first article inspection.Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds.Why Work Here

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $43.50/hr.
