**Job Title: CMM Programmer**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled CMM Programmer to lead the development, programming, and optimization of automated inspection routines. This role involves managing and maintaining program databases, collaborating with engineering teams, and applying lean methodologies to enhance inspection processes.
**Responsibilities**
+ Serve as primary point of contact for the CMM inspection area, coordinating inspection flow and setting daily priorities to meet production schedules.
+ Lead development, programming, and optimization of automated inspection routines using PC-DMIS and Calypso for Hexagon and Zeiss systems.
+ Interpret and analyze part models, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications to design probing strategies and inspection plans.
+ Manage and maintain program database and documentation including setup sheets, standard work instructions, and engineering change notifications (ECNs).
+ Collaborate with Engineering to create efficient work holding solutions and advanced inspection techniques.
+ Monitor and apply lean methodologies to improve inspection processes and reduce runtime.
+ Supervise calibration schedules, preventive maintenance, and inventory of CMM/VMM tools and accessories.
+ Train and support CMM Programmers, shop personnel, and quality team members on proper equipment use and programming standards.
+ Perform dimensional inspections, document results, and communicate findings with corrective recommendations.
+ Participate actively in continuous improvement initiatives, including 6S and lean manufacturing programs.
**Essential Skills**
+ Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
+ Proficient in using inspection tools: comparators, micrometers, calipers, electronic/digital height gauges, thread plug gauges, and hand tools.
+ Proficient in interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T.
+ Experience with sampling plans and inspection criteria development.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Capability in conducting measurement system analysis and understanding quality control standards.
+ Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T.
+ Experience in final inspection and quality control processes.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $79000.00 - $90000.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Paramus,NJ.
