The Quality Inspector will utilize CMM programs to ensure the quality of products by performing inspections using CMMs to verify product dimensions against engineering drawings and specifications. This role is crucial in maintaining product integrity and supporting quality management systems.
ResponsibilitiesPerform daily inspections using Zeiss CMM Equipment and document measurements to identify trends, deviations, and areas for improvement.Utilize calipers, micrometers, depth, bore, and width gauges to inspect parts and maintain the Zeiss machine.Support first article inspections (FAI) and in-process inspections.Identify nonconformances and communicate findings to production and quality teams.Essential SkillsHands-on expertise with both CMM programming/operation and manual measurement techniques.Experience in quality inspection and quality control, ideally within an aerospace manufacturing environment.Proficiency in using Gd&t, blueprints, micrometers, calipers, and CMM equipment.Additional Skills & QualificationsZeiss CMM experience required.Prior work in tight-tolerance machining environments.Technical certificate or related training in Quality or Metrology.Why Work Here?Enjoy 100% paid benefits by the employer when direct, offering a supportive and rewarding work environment.
