Job Description

Join a dynamic facilities services company as a mobile Commercial Maintenance Technician. Your role will involve performing preventative maintenance and repairs on client facilities, ensuring the smooth operation of plumbing, faucets, toilets, doors, drywall, and minor electrical systems. You will drive a company van to various customer sites, communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams, and document your work using Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on plumbing, faucets, toilets, doors, drywall, and minor electrical systems.Drive a company van to customer sites and commercial properties.Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal employees.Document and log activities via Microsoft Word and Excel.

Essential Skills

5+ years of facilities experience.Proficiency in plumbing, painting, carpentry, and electrical maintenance.Active and valid driver's license.Ability to document work using Microsoft Office or Lotus Notes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Extensive facilities maintenance experience.Trade school certification.EPA certification.

Work Environment

Travel to designated regions within Houston, driving a company van. Work independently or partner with others at client sites, interacting with clients and service vendors. Maintain detailed logs of work orders in the system. Expect a hands-on work environment requiring steel-toed boots, jeans, and a work shirt. The role operates on the 1st shift, Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional weekend work based on customer needs and seasonal demands.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of League City, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $32.00/hr.
