We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer (Principal Cyber Systems Engineer or Sr. Principal Cyber Systems Engineer) to join our dynamic team of technical professionals. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Mission Systems support team in San Antonio, TX.

What you'll get to do:
Working as part of a team to design, build and maintain AWS and hybrid-cloud systemsAdministering systems based on Linux and Windows operating systemsMaintaining and troubleshooting IP networking systems for AWS and hybrid-cloud systemsAutomating system deployment, operation and maintenance using Infrastructure as Code and Configuration Management toolingThis position can be filled at the Principal or Sr. Principal Engineer level.
Basic Qualifications for Principal Cyber Systems Engineer:
Bachelor’s degree in related STEM discipline with 5 years of experience; Master’s degree related in STEM discipline with 3 years of experience; PhD in related STEM discipline with 1 year of experience in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or related technical fields; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.U.S. Citizenship requiredA current/active DoD Top Secret w/ SCI clearanceExperience with designing, deploying and administering cloud-based solutionsUnderstanding of the architecture, maintenance, and administration of Linux serversExperience with automating tasks using Ansible, Bash, PowerShell, Puppet or PythonProven experience working within IT Systems Design, Deployment and AdministrationDoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+, etc.) is requiredBasic Qualifications for Sr. Principal Cyber Systems Engineer:

Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
