What you will be working on 

To achieve the above mentioned goal, we work hard to digitize and fill in gaps in our customer journey. Therefore we invest our energy, time and ideas where we believe the most value is expected: B2B mobile, API Services, B2B Web, Instant Sign Up and Self-service portals. 

We aim to provide our customers: best network and site offer, best B2B Driver and Fleet manager experience and to become for our customers: best ecosystem Partner, best mobility partner by creation of new business models and external mobility capabilities. 

Currently we support our customer with mobile payment for fueling and car wash, drivers enrollment and aim to support them with frictionless fueling, EV charging, Pay by Plate, Loyalty and much more to come. 

Moreover, we decided to build global New Generation Retail Platform (NGRP), based on cloud services that will provide its capabilities without location constraint, delivering innovative solutions to our customers. NGRP is a solution which is a key to our business agility, enabling business capabilities and unlocking value for Circle K and our customers to make their lives a little easier and enjoyable every day.

Key Responsibilities  

Manage AWS cloud services that span storage, security, networking and compute across IaaS, PaaS and SaaS services  

Implement improvement, standardization and automation for AWS  

Taking part in or being responsible for various projects or minor developments

Responsible for proposing, designing and running proof of concept of new solutions 

Take part in roadmaps preparation for Software Engineering solutions in the clouds  

Cooperation with Software Engineering Architecture to ensure our solutions alignment with the technology roadmap  

Ensure availability and performance of business critical IT infrastructure  

MUST HAVE skills & experience: 

Amazon Web Services cloud advanced knowledge 

Experience in provisioning cloud infrastructure (instances, databases, clusters, networking, monitoring) 

Understanding of CI/CD environments and processes 

Linux administration skills 

Understanding of security, network, virtualization, load balancing, storage and databases 

Experience in working with containers (Docker and clusters: ECS or K8s) 

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) - Terraform 

Automation/Configuration management Tools (preferred Ansible)

Open to learn and share knowledge, continuously develop personal and technical capabilities 

Fluent English in writing and speaking 

NICE-TO-HAVE skills & experience: 

Experience in the design of cloud-based environments 

Practice knowledge in one of scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, Groovy) 

Understanding of DevSecOps culture, practices, and tools e.g., GitHub, GitHub Actions Jenkins, Git, Checkmarx 

Experience with centralized logging solutions (ELK Stack, Grafana) 

Puppet knowledge
