Clinical Therapist - Kahi Mohala Social Work (Full Time, 40, Day)

If LSW upon hire, then must obtain LCSW within twelve (12) months of entrance into the position. LCSW highly preferred. • Current Hawaii State certification as a Substance Abuse Counselor preferred. • Must meet and maintain credentialing requirements with the State of Hawaii Child & Adolescent Mental Health Division (CAMHD). • Current BLS certification. • Two (2) years post graduate experience in a clinical behavioral health setting, which included clinical supervision by a licensed clinician. • One (1) year experience coordinating after care and/or discharge planning in a behavioral health setting preferred. **TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:** • Essential: seeing, hearing speaking, static gripping of an object for prolonged periods. • Frequent: standing, sitting, walking, lifting and carrying usual weight of 2 pounds, reaching above, at and below shoulder level, repetitive arm/hand motions. • Occasional: stooping/bending, kneeling, climbing stairs, walking on uneven ground, squatting, twisting body, finger dexterity, frequent gripping of an object. **TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:** • Not substantially subjected to adverse environmental conditions. • Exposed to communicable diseases and bodily fluids. • May be subjected to emotionally charged situations which may compromise physical safety.
