Job Title: Clinical Team Lead

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Team Lead to oversee and support country-level feasibility, investigator identification, and selection. This role involves managing the contracting process with investigational sites and local vendors, as well as overseeing the management of project allocated direct reports, including CRAs, Site Managers, and CTAs.

Responsibilities

Oversee and support the country-level feasibility and investigator identification and selection.Manage the contracting process with investigational sites and local vendors.Responsible for the overall management of the project, allocated direct reports, including CRAs, Site Managers, and CTAs.Organize and facilitate internal project team meetings and ensure meeting minutes are reviewed, approved, and distributed.Develop, review, and revise project documents such as Clinical Monitoring Plans and CRF completion guidelines.Prepare the Site Management Plan for studies without a Lead Site Manager.Support project managers in developing study-related SharePoint for document sharing and study status reporting.Initiate corrective and preventative measures such as updating study guidance documents and performing quality assessments.Support project managers in executing KPIs for assigned staff and site deliverables within time and budget constraints.Review and verify documents for the first Investigational Medicinal Product release to investigational sites.Support project managers in setting up and maintaining clinical trial master files and ensure quality control of assigned sections.Review site visit reports and ensure they are finalized within expected timelines and quality standards.Report unresolved site issues to project managers with action plans for discussion.Review cumulative listings of study non-compliances and assess trends for corrective actions.Inform project managers of any problems with investigators, sponsors, or partners, and escalate issues immediately.Coordinate and ensure adequate preparations for site-specific audits and inspections, and analyze audit reports.

Essential Skills

Experience in clinical research and trial oversight.Expertise in LATAM, trip report review, and oncology.Knowledge of CRA KPIs, clinical trials, bid defense, and rare diseases.Fluency in Spanish.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Senior level of trial oversight.Experience with bid defense meetings.6+ years of experience in a functional clinical research role.

Work Environment

This is a fully remote position with the expectation of travel for bid defense meetings, possibly including international travel. You will have the opportunity to work on studies in both the US and EU, and transition to overseeing LATAM studies when awarded. Join a CRO gaining traction on new study awards.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Miami, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $100.00/hr.
