**Position Overview**
The Clinical Sales Specialist is part of a regional sales team that may also include CEREC Specialists, Equipment Specialists, and Implantology Specialists. This role promotes and sells Dentsply Sirona consumable products within a defined geographical territory.
The role focuses on increasing market share and penetration while maintaining strong, long-term customer relationships through a clinically led sales approach.
**Primary Objective**
To deliver and exceed sales and growth targets for the assigned territory through effective clinical sales activity, strong product knowledge, and customer engagement, in line with regional sales plans and national product strategies.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Planning**
+ Develop, manage, and implement the annual Territory Sales Plan
+ Conduct ongoing market and competitor analysis
+ Support the Sales Manager in long-term strategic planning
**Sales Plan Implementation**
+ Build strong relationships with clinicians and internal stakeholders
+ Identify key decision-makers and opinion leaders
+ Communicate customer needs to internal teams to exceed expectations
+ Act as the primary customer contact to resolve issues collaboratively
+ Support regional Clinical Education plans with KOLs and specialists
**Reporting & Analysis**
+ Measure and evaluate sales performance and adjust strategies as required
+ Record all sales activity daily in CRM systems
+ Conduct monthly sales and portfolio performance analysis
+ Establish efficient systems and processes to manage workload
**Knowledge & Capability**
+ Maintain current clinical, product, system, and procedural knowledge
+ Participate in training and self-directed professional development
**Teamwork**
+ Work closely with Sales Managers and State Managers
+ Support team members and contribute to shared objectives
**Health & Safety**
+ Comply with all health and safety policies and procedures
+ Proactively identify, report, and manage safety risks
+ Use personal protective equipment as required

+ Recommend improvements to policies and procedures
+ Approvals in line with Finance Authority Matrix

**Experience & Qualifications**
+ Relevant degree or certificate (preferred)
+ Formal sales training (desirable)
+ Proven experience in a clinical or sales role
+ Dental or healthcare market knowledge (desirable)
**Skills & Attributes**
+ Strong understanding of clinical sales processes
+ High personal drive and motivation
+ Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability
+ Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills
